Under sowing is the process of  drilling seed into an existing turf surface to thicken and repair damaged ground.  This is usually carried out in spring or autumn in conjunction with a good nutrient regimen.  This process can eliminate the need for completely resowing the turf surface prolonging the life of the turf.   Proving to be be a cost effective method of repair especially in larger areas.
